The colors used compliment each other really well and the J used on the double page spread looks very effective. You have used ideas from magazines such as Q to make your magazine look exceptional.
This is a great draft, the front cover is simple but it works. The colour scheme really works and the photos have been edited and cropped well. The contents page look really professional and a lot of effort has clearly been put into it. As for the double page spread, I really like the J as it is a really eye catching feature. I cant see anything that needs improving, well done!
i love the design and layouts you have used, they look really effective and professional. The colour scheme works really well and i like how you have chosen to highlight specific areas of text and the beginning of certain words. You have kept this consistent through your magazine which is really good and it gives it personality and character. Your images also work really well and your chosen genre is communicated clearly. You could perhaps try to include more than one person or a variation of images in order to create some variety maybe? This is a great start, well done!
This is a brilliant first draft attempt. All of the drafts you have created look very professional. The colour scheme used is very effective and i really like what you have done.
Really like the look of your draft, it looks very professional and the colour scheme works well together. You could try using more than one person to focus on so there is a but more variation but other than that, it looks great.
This is an amazing first draft, the layout and the colours all go very well together. The magazine has its own unique feeling to it which is really good! The double page spread looks great with what you have done to it. Keep up the good work!
I really like what you have done as your draft. Your colour scheme is professional and the red text stands out and is eye catching. Your article is interesting and your contents page is set out clear and it looks fresh. Well done!
I think this is one of the best magazines out of the ones that I have viewed, I like that you have maintained a consistent theme throughout your whole magazine which gives it a continuous flow which will make the audience want to read on. I really like this magazine however there is one thing that I would change, which is the title on the cover page, you cant really tell what the title is. overall a great magazine!
Very good drafts. For your front cover, I would move "Issue 73 Jan 16" over to the right slightly so it is exactly in lien with your title. This is the same for your price next to your barcode it needs moving slightly to the right so it is exactly in line. For your contents, I would move the "contents" text to the left slightly so it is in line with the rest of the text on the page to make it look ore professional. Also, I would add more text under the sub title "list of contents" to fill some of the bank space towards the bottom of your magazine. For your double page spread, I would thicken the line as well as extending it where you have put it under "Joel Roberts" as it looks unprofessional. And maybe the cover line move slightly down so there is equal spacing. You could also consider using the blue background on your double page spread in your front cover and contents so that the colour scheme is the same throughout. Only small changes needed as they are very good designs.
I love the colours used through out the magazine. The red makes each page stand out and gives some vibrancy to an otherwise dark colours magazine. The front cover and contents are laid out well and look good. The double page spread is amazing, it looks very professional and I rally like big J in the background. well done.
I really like your draft, it looks very professional and the use of colour makes certain parts of the text stand out. I also like the J on the background of your double page spread, also you could add another person to your magazine drafts to add more variety in your magazine. Overall good draft magazine!
I really like your draft magazine! I specifically like your double page spread and the way you have got a J on the background and used a bigger font for the first letter of your text. I also think the colour scheme you have chosen works really well, well done.
this is a very good first draft magazine. the colour scheme used is effective and consistant throughout. your double page spread is excellent. its a very good design and attarctive. to improve i would prehaps re visit our contents page as it looks a bit out of place compared to your other pages and also chose another photo so the cover and double page spread don't look the same. very well done mate ;)

ReplyDeleteI love the double page spread! It looks really professional! Maybe use more than one person at a time on each page? Other than that, great work!
